One plus I've heard about the razyr leads me to believe they are stiffer. If you like blazers this should be a good thing.

Here is my thinking. When my bow and arrow are tuned correctly I can shoot bareshaft at the target and put the arrow where it is supposed to go at 35yds when weatherand other outside conditions are perfect.
I use four 4" feathers on my hunting arrows because I anticipate that conditions will not be perfect every day that I go out hunting and the four 4" feathers will help the most in less than perfect conditions.
I am sure the rayzr's would work just fine on your arrows since you will have everything tuned correctly but you need to ask yourself what you expect to get from whatever fletching you use and then decide if it is what you want.

I shoot all sizes of feathers and I can't tell Razrs are any stiffer than any other feather, just a different profile

They are taller, based on the same premise as the Blazer, yes? Which would lead me to believe they would "behave" very similar as well.

A heavier slow flying arrow needs more fletching for stabilization,as your experience has shown you.Go with your gut on this one and shoot the 4" feathers.

I would tend to agree. any extra weight with 4" feathers will be virtually nothing.
