PSE X Force

Would a PSE X force set at 80# be too much for deer hunting?

yes imho 70lbs on a x force is almost to much for a deer

Anything past about 50 lbs. of draw weightis a pass through most of the time. Only reason is for flatter trajectoy - if you are shooting at longer ranges. I would also mention time of flight in relation to jumping the string, but I think the faster bows are generally louder - which offsets the advantage.

No its not too much...but you don't need nearly that much.

I've seen gentlemen pull more than that for deer. You'll be fine.
