Default Bowtech Patriot DC Numbers

I ran some numbers with my 2003 Bowtech Patriot dual cam bow tonight, so I am passing them along as there is alot of interest in these bows.

The bow is set at 60# & 29" draw, standard hush kit except 1 Sims cable dampener and Stealth limb savers, doinker 4" stabilizer in rear & brass nock.

The 1st arrow is 301 grains and shot 310.3 fps

The 2nd arrow is 350 grains and shot 290.6 fps

The 3rd arrow is 378 grains and shot 280.0 fps

I continue to be impressed with the smoothness of the draw and the grip

My dealer called me today and said that my Pat DC came in<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle> There are two problems though, he is 250 miles away and the wife's LadyHawk didn't come in also. Do you think that she will go for making a special trip to get my bow or will she make me wait until her's comes in<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>?

OOpps, I wonder if my 30 incher will be one of the long 30's or one with the shorter 30 inch mods?

Jerry,

Your numbers are very close to mine.

My 70 lber turned down to 60 lbs, 29&quot; draw without the hush kit and a 365 grn arrow with string loop hit high 290's.

taking off the hush kits and brass nock may be worth 10 fps.

Rack,

I maxed the bow out and took off the kisser (I forgot was there) and shot a 300.1 grain arrow at 317.2 fps. The birth certificate shows 318 with a 300 grain arrow at 60.4#. I will take off the hush puppies tomorrow. Nite

Without the hush puppies (on the string) I shot the 300.1 grain arrow @ 320.2 fps. at 62#, 29&quot; draw.

I installed the new string (kevlar)leeches and got:

The 1st arrow was 301 grains and shot 315 fps

The 2nd arrow was 350 grains and shot 295.8 fps

The 3rd arrow was 378.7 grains and shot 285.0 fps

So, taking the factory hush puppies off (the string only) and installing Sims string leeches, I picked up 5 fps and is quieter to boot.

Also, someone asked me about a 400 grain arrow. A 401.8 grain arrow shot 283.4 fps.

The actual let off was 66% (measured)

Ausie, did you have to ask? LOL...I don't know until I get the 28&quot; mods on.

Seems it likes that 400 grain arrow.

Where are all the 70# - 30&quot; numbers? Everthing being posted is either at 60# or 28&quot;-29&quot;, in this case it was both.

This sounds like a very HOT bow. I'll be anxious to see just how popular this bow becomes. I know of several shooters in my area that have one ordered. Might just have to try one myself<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
