RE: Bowtech Patriot DC Numbers
Here ya go Toby,
I tied in a nocking point and advanced the cams a little and made sure they were in as close to pefect time as possible, took the hush kit off and here is what I got:
29", 71 lbs, 365 gr., 327 fps
30", 70 lbs, 365 gr., 334 fps
The newer 30"ers should be faster. The first 30" models that were released, in addition to being a little long, weren't picking up the speed between 29" and 30" that they should.

Oh boyohboyohboy! The wife says we can go get my new Pat on Monday It's been a long time since I've had a speeding ticket but I may have to risk it tomorrow!! A 500 mile round trip will be well worth it if I can get the speeds you guys are posting. Mine is a 70 and 30 so I'll have to do some testing for sure! Have a great week!

RE: Bowtech Patriot DC Numbers
I would have to agree with the speeds posted. I test shot the Pat DC this weekend and boy oh boy is right. The arrows were flying so fast they were a blur. No recoil, handshock, or vibration as an added bonus. Since it was the only one in the shop I put a deposit down on it, now how to do I explain this to my wife?
Given it was a 60lb model the draw wasn't all that bad, but with a 70lb draw I think it could be a bit of a bear. About 1/4" of creep any more and the arrow was off. The grip is the only negative I have about the bow, but I can always get a custom grip if I don't like it. Bowtech has a winner here.

I chronoed mine today as it came from the factory with 29 inch modules which actually measure 29 1/8 inches AMO draw. Weight is 71.5 pounds with a brass nock set and Hush kit. Shooting a 457.4 grain arrow it went 282 fps for 80.79 foot pounds. I'll try next with cat whiskers and a tided in nock and a kisser and a Sims teflon cable slide. This thing should be a screamin 3D bow and the ulitmate hunting bow! I think I'm done buying bows for quite some time

WOW Gimp, that will knock over a brick wall! I wish they came in 75% let off and I would definitely keep mine Good luck with yours and look forward to your reviews
