I have the sport and so far the battery has lasted a year.

raceman, I have one and really like it. I use it quite a bit, and the original battery is still in it (since last fall). It does what I want a rangefinder to do, tell me how far away something is. I didn't feel the extra features were worth the extra $100. It's not much bigger than the Scout, and smaller than the other Bushnells.

RE: Bushnell Yardage Pro Sport
I'd echo the other comments...
A $199 sport or a $999 Leica or Swarovski or... They all read the same distance - the 'glass clarity' was the seller - sure - big difference alright but at my ranges (archery) I don't think there was a $100 difference let alone a $800 difference. I've yet to replace my battery - been about 8 months. Aim small miss small |
