Modified nap4000
![]() Well I hope this picture works , I modified this rest because I was getting contact with the steel cabel that attaches it to the cabel slide I read alot of pepole had problems with the cabel slide "jumping" on the first released models and I think this modification will fix that as you retain your original cabel slide this way . I drilled the hole the cabel attaches to out slightly , just big enough so sting would slide through , and drilled a hole on the bottom side of the accuator bar the same size as the one allready in it so that it could be rotated 45 degrees tword the string . Hope this helps some of you and maybe it will get a rest out of your tacle box for another try . The rest works great this way and it is very quiet . Best of luck We all have different oppinions , if we did'nt the world would be a BORING place Edited by - ijimmy on 02/07/2003 06:42:45 Edited by - ijimmy on 02/07/2003 06:59:06 |

RE: Modified nap4000
Did the Trophy Taker not work on your Cybertec riser? Why did you take off the Trophy Taker, I've heard that was a very good fall away rest.

RE: Modified nap4000
Thanks for that info there Jimmy...I have a NAP 2000 and I don't like the idea of the cable rubbing up against the TEC bar on my RazorTEC. So it looks like when I get out of class I'll be playing around with that....Man I love wireless networking. This Bio lecture is so boring, it's all repetative.
