RE: Very interesting QAD Tune
ORIGINAL: TFOX A lot of times when I have issues such as that, the rest is causing the problem, try another rest just to see what will happen.Rest are very important in the tuning process.Even a good rest can be bad. Part of me doesn't care, because its shooting well, but part of me thinks there is no way I should be 1/4" right of center with my rest. |
RE: Very interesting QAD Tune
YOU SHOULD'T
You may be able to shoot it like that but think about how you have to hold the bow to hit center. You essentially have to hold out away from the target to get the bow to shoot straight at it.Basically you have to use bad form to hit center. I like to keep a good sturdy prong rest around and bareshaft through paper to figure out issues such as this. |
RE: Very interesting QAD Tune
Start over and go slow with small adjustment. You can get an arrow to fly from just about any place,... but that doesn't mean it's right. Go back to square one and do it again.

RE: Very interesting QAD Tune
I know this must be perplexing: but, from what it appears,is that the bow shoots great and BHs and field points are hitting the same. Is it broke?

RE: Very interesting QAD Tune
I have to agree with the Idler lean possibility. I know you checked it w/ a laser but try the arrow laid against the idler wheel. All 3 of the single cams I had needed some adjustment after changing the strings.
It will only take a second to check. If your arrow runs parallell to the string you're o.k. If it points away from, or hits/crosses the string, the yoke needs twisted. |
