Bohning Blazer Jig

I hear alot of people talk about the bitz and how good it is. Im considering buyinga new jig and was wondering if anyone had used the bohning jig that is made for putting on only blazer vains. Ive switched to blazersand noticed on some of the jigs its a little difficult to put on the short veins on the large jig. Apparently this jig is made especially for them and puts them at the recommended 2 degrees helical you are supposed to have. If anyone has heard bad or good stuff the info would sure help.

From others that have used it, most say they hated it.

I love mine. I have a bitz jig and like it but the bohning is sooo much eaiser. it is very easy to refletch one feather unlike a bitz. You can fletch 3 blazers at a time unlike 1 at a time with the bitz. downside is you cannot put healical on the vanes or feathers with a bohnning and you can with a bitz jig. not much of a factor since I use my blazers with no helical other than what the bohning tower has built into it. I think both have their purposes and uses. You must make the call though on what your needs are. The bohning is a snap to use and quickly fletches one or 3 vanes at a time. hope this helps.

I have a bohning jig. I've only used it for blazers, but it works well enough for me. It kind of seems like a plastic bitz. I dont use it a lot, and i havn't used others, but the bohning works.

I had the bohning straight jig and it seemed to work fine. Im talking about the one that is made especially for the blazers its actually called a Blazer Jig not the tower.
