Deal on a stab or not??

local gander has a Doinker 6-7" stab in the clearance bin for $9.97... was thinkin about gettin that instead of opting for the Posten Woodsman 8" at $55... good deal???

if youwill use it, it's a good deal. I've had many good deals that only ended up in a drawer. Making them a waste of money.

What he said is very true... the only other consideration is, if you're like me, and in this thing for the rest of your life, it's nice to have a collection of stabilizers to compare and contrast them on different bows.

my line of thinking is more along the lines of "for $10 how could i go wrong, if I don't like it, no big loss"... really, i'm just lookin for a stab to help my shot a little, don't need it to help quiet the bow down but would like to play around with steadying my shot a little as I find myself floating more than i'd like to when preparring to shoot... I honestly think it will help which is why i was considering dropping the bux on a Posten stab, if I don't like it i can sell it off and get the posten instead... guess I know what i'm doin for lunch today...

Personally you couldn't give me $10 to put a free Doinker on my bow but that's just me. Some guys like 'em.

I just put a 10" Doinker on my 38" Hoyt Protec and, for the first time since I owned the bow, it balances in my hand. The 32" Reflex doesn't need that much to balance - it is fine with an S-Coil. For $10, itwould beworth the experimentation factor for me.

The ones I've had through the shop had soft rubber against the riser and were constantly driving me nuts because they'd come loose after a few shots and have to be torqued back down.
