D-loop knots

Ok, since I had some dryfire issues I had to visit another bowshop with very good results, I learned some new tricks and found a better price for the General.
The owner told me to tie my peep with the knots opposed to eachother, so not on the same side.
Anyone tied there loop like that or want to comment ?
I used to tutorial on the HNI forum and that worked great, but any improvement is better, right......

if you're talking d-loop - and not peep - then the knots should be opposite - as it is in greg's d-loop tying thread. if you're actually talking about tying in a peep - not sure what you're referring to there.

I've played with it both ways and it didn't make any difference but they should be opposing.

redone the D-loop again, will be shooting tomorrow and retuning again.
AND then I'm gonna take notes to where everything is, so when I screw up again, it'll make things easier.....

RE: D-loop knots

I decided today to not go on my first hunt in januari, the dryfire made a mess of my set up. I had the bow taken apart to check if it was damaged and now I have to start from scratch. I don't have enough time to tune and to shoot at the range to get it done properly. I will have to wait another season. I would not dare risk going into the woods with a badly tuned bow. I need to be sure of my equipment.
I redid my D-loop and it doesn't really make much difference, I need to reset my WB and my sight, but I have time now.......

You make a good case for the need for a backup bow.
