ArcticShield boot covers

Has anybody tried these, sitting for an extended period of time in cold weather? (Saw them advertised in Bass Pro for about $40.00). I remember someone on here talking about trying the gloves at a show they were at, wondered about the boot covers?

I looked at these long and hard. I purchased some Rocky boots with 600 grams of thinsulate ultra, and considered these to compliment them. I am a freak of nature, with a 3E foot width, and "normal" width boots constrict my blood flow, leading to cold feet no matter what I do. I bought the Rockys in their widest width, which I believe is 2E, and they are much more comfortable, although I still can't wear thick socks, only poly liner socks. I wanted to see if 600 grams of thinsulate would be enough before I bought the articshield covers, and while I didn't get cold feet from constriction, yesterday told me 600 grams while not moving sitting in a treestand in below 30* temps isn't enough. I plan to by some articshields before next season, and like the fact that they are not bulky and can easily be carried in my daypack...

I have a pair of overboots & like them alot. I wear a pair of light pack boots to walk, then put them on when I sit. That way I don't get too warm or tired from heavy insulated boots while walking. Just a tip though, if the boots are wet or muddy I knock the mud off & don't put the booties on right away. Let your boots dry off a little first. They seem to work better when the boots inside are not too wet.

Had one of my employees put an Artic Shield on one foot and a Boot Blanket on the other foot. He couldn't return the Artic Shield fast enough.

Len, how 'bout the boot blankets? Do they actually work well?

Rangeball: I use them. Except for being a little bulky, they work very well. You can't walk in them. I tell all my customers this because we actually had a few ruin them by walking with them on.
