Default String & Cable rubbing

My string and cable rub each other when i draw at the point where they cross. Is this ok or should i get a cable slid that seperates them more so they dont touch. I just put on new winners choice string and cable.

If the cables are rubbing now, and they weren't before you put on the new cables, then it sounds like they weren't installed right. I would take them back to the shop you had them put on at and explain the problem and they should help you out. If you installed the new string and cable yourself then try crossing the cables the other way.

Yes, change the slide if you'll still have fletching clearance. As long as you're at it you may as well get a teflon one, too.

What bow do you have? Stock slide? Some good advice is already posted. Git-R fixed

If the cables are crossed above the guard try switching the slide so that they cross below the guard and see what happens. If it doesn't fix the problem I'd look into another slide.
