Default string silencers.

How many of you use string silencers and what kind do you prefer. I used to use the cat wisker style but need to replace them with something. Is there any better product out there or should i stick with the cat wiskers.

I have found the cat whiskers to work just as good as anything out there and alot cheaper too. I would stick with the cat whiskers.

I have the cat whiskers, coupled with Limbsavers stick-on sliencers and I like that combination. But then again, shooting a 595 grain arrow will quiet down any bow!I've used the Limbsavers silencers that go in the string and they get chewed up pretty quickly if you shoot often enough.

I use the yarn puff ball ones or Beaver Balls (made from beaver fur supposedly).

All the rubber ones seem to make a whipping noise and these don't make that sound.

I have leeches on my old Nova they worked great also game me 3FPS in speed

Now I just use what came on my new Guide Series TecHunter Elite. They seem alright, I guess I haven't shot my bow without them so i can say if they do anything or not. I would assume so though.

I love my bows that need nothing at all. On the ones that do, I use bow hush and hush puppy. And sometimes a little mole skin on the belly of the limb.

Stay with the cat whiskers, they're cheap, they seem last forever, they work and they are easy to install.
