torque a gogo
Ok, I've been posting several torque problem and torque fixed messages and now I'm back.
I finally managed to find a decent archery club where they let compound shooters in. I shot several arrows and some of'm went straight others went fishtailing. I am sure I don't torque the bow, the problem comes and goes on me untill I had an oldtimer come up to me and tell me it's not the bow and it's not the archer, it's the release. I tied in a D'loop as short as possible because I don't want to change modes on my tomkat ( the shop's too far away from where I live ) but now I noticed that I have trouble getting my finger on the trigger and so I slightly twist the release. So now I have one more thing I have to change..... I am going to get me a release with changeable trigger length... any suggestions would be welcome..... thx Frank Belgium |

Frank..
I put my suggestion into the pm a few days ago. IMHO you will probably be more suited for a hand held rather than a wrist release. The Truball range of hand helds have a swivel head you can rotate to your hand position then lock down. But like I said in the pm if you go that way then get the Talon head not the caliper;) You can pick them up second hand over on archerytalk for a lot less money than buying new;) |
