PSE Nova

I was looking at a used PSE Nova last week and the info on the limb simply said "70# Peak Weight". Does this imply/mean that the draw weight is adjustable from 60-70# or what?

I have looked at various web sites that sell the Nova and some are listed as adjustable within this range but, also some are listed as not adjustable. Since the bow is used, no instructions were available. When folks trade in their bows why don't they bring the instruction manual with them? OK, I'm done now.

yes it is adjustable. The weight will also depend on where the draw` lenght is set.If it is a 28-30" bow and it is set at 28" it will not max out at 70#.

Thanks, Cajunbowhunter. I don't see anyplace to adjust the draw length. The limb says that the draw length is 29". Most that are adjustable indicate it with something like "28-30'".

Is it the 2 cam round wheel bow or the single cam?The wheel bow will have slots in the wheel to change the draw length.I'm not sure about the single cam.

It is the single cam. No slots that I can see.

single cams usually have a few posts on the cam--various routes for the string to wrap around these posts.

I bought my PSE nova about two weeks ago. I love it for the money. As mentioned earlier, yes you can adjust the poundage from 60lbs to 70lbs,and yes you can adjust the draw from 28" to 30" in 1/4" sets. Check out their web site or go to Cabelas site. Hope this helps...
