Back from the ATA Show...

Just got home... We had an awesome show...

I read some BS on another thread so I'll dispell the rumor...No one challenged anyone BUT, when I left Kevin S had a BKPro strapped in our neighbors Hooter Shooter and shooting it through their chronograph...LOL...HeHe

BTS....Sorry I didn't get to say Hi. I was talking to Jerod S. for some time and you were busy on Friday. I caught a virus and was down for the count all of Saturday and Sunday. Wonderful way of spending a weekend in Indy....in the hotel, sick!!!

BTS: Thank you for coming over and introducing yourself. I had asked about you on Friday, but you were gone from the booth. Now I can put a face with the printed word.

Maco12: Sorry to hear about you being one who got bit by the bug as well. My Buyer/Manager was shut down all day Saturday. He felt good enough to get to the plane on Sunday, but missed a good portion of the show. The ARRO group told me that about 30 people were reported to be down but none of of it seemed to be related to where they eat. I guess it was just a bug that coincidentally hit a lot of people at the same time.

I did have a couple of regular posters stop in for one of my seminars. With that large a crowd, it's hard to connect unless you know where someone will be at a particular time.

Hi Len, how did the seminars go?

I was there and Botech drew the crowds. It was by far the most popular place to be. I spent my fair share there and that wheelie bow sure is smooth. My dealer is sending in his dealer form today on my reccomendations. I can hardly wait for them to hit the door. Botech staff treat everyone the way you should treat dealers. It was one of my highlights at this year show.

I agree! I stopped by to place my order and was promptly greeted and immediately taken care of by Kevin Duffy. (and I mean PROMPTLY) After I was done I had Dave Stephens come over to ask if I needed help while looking through the rack, and we went over and shot some of the bows. Then on Saturday I met BTS for the first time (nice guy!) while in the area again (had to go to Lone Wolf which was next booth over) and had a nice talk with him, and then one of the other reps came over (can't remember his name) and asked if I needed assistance after that while I was looking over things again! Definately the best booth at the show as far as dealer welcome and overall interest was concerned. Class act and everyone I spoke with afterwards (dealers) thought they did an excellent job.

Len-

Sorry I did not get to your seminars and that we did not hook up, but you know how the business end of the show is,we were running all weekend. Next time!

Great show, met lots of new faces and saw lots of old friends, and many interesting new items. Good shooting, Pinwheel 12

Jerry: The seminars went very well. The one on fit and form drew the larger attendance and we had a good time exchanging ideas. It's always good to see Dealers interacting to benefit the industry.

PW12: Eventually we will cross paths and I look forward to it.

Pinwheel did Lone Wolf have anything new at the show? Thanks

Awesome show BTS!!!

The BowTech booth was the buzz of the show. The BT Staff was as good as it gets. They took there time to set up as many bows in my draw length as I wanted and to make sure I received accurate data on several models. The new grip is awesome, the strings are obviously high quality, and the fit & finish looked great. I will proudly be shooting BowTech this season!!! Congrats on the 2003 line-up.

Stinky1-

Thicker foam cushion for the handclimber model and the hang-on. The sit and climb seat looked bigger, but I could not be sure on that. I was there placing an order and already knew what I wanted so didn't hang around too long. Great products, per usual. Pinwheel 12

It was great to finally put faces to names. Len, Pinwheel12, Orions_Bow, okbwhtr and many, many others. Cornfed, I know we met last year at the Ill. Classic Deer and Turkey show but, it was nice to see you again.

I also met a ton of others and I want to take this time to say thanks for stopping by and introducing yourselves.

Maco12, I'm sorry we didn't get to meet. I'll be at the Cleveland show to help you on the second weekend if it's still a go...

I also heard others were sick after Fri. so I think it's safe to assume somebody was serving some bad food. We had a couple people come to the booth and say they had eaten bad food...Not sure where though...

I didn't see what was new from Lone Wolf but on Sun. they had a big yellow balloon floating above thier booth with 300 Archery in Rindge NH. written on it... I asked what it was for and they said Outtech had a drawing and it seems that Pinwheel12 won a deer hunting trip. I don't know if they've contacted you yet but Congrats...

Pinwheel, if you can't make it to WI for your hunt, I'd be happy to take it for you. I live in WI so it won't be any problem for me to do it.

Stinky1-

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll make that trip!

I received confirmation, I did in fact win it and will be hunting with Andrae, President of Lone Wolf stands, sometime between October-January, we just have to align our schedules.

For someone who has never won anything other than Archery Tournaments,(I can't even hit a $5 scratch ticket for $5, LOL) this is pretty neat! I'll be sure to post pics when I get back. Good shooting, Pinwheel 12

A lot of new neat acessories too. I especially liked the new GKF Power Drop! I believe GKF hit a homer with this one.

Sounds like you all had a great time.

Pinwheel: If you can choose anytime between Oct. and Jan. in WI. You should really try and make it around the first week in Nov. That should put you close to the rut depending on what part of the state you'll be hunting in.

Nub-
I'm hunting my homestate on Sept 15, then going to PA the first week of Oct, so it will be after that when I go on that hunt, may fall right into it, huh? Slick! Pinwheel 12
