Fletching Jigs?
Hello,
I want to buy a fletching jig. I currently shoot Easton 2117 Al. arrows with 4" feathers right helical. Can someone recommend a jig that they like? Thanks, Chris |
RE: Fletching Jigs?
I've had my best results with Bitzenberger and JoJan.

RE: Fletching Jigs?
I gave my Jo-Jan away to a friend and got a Bitzenberger. I'll keep this one for life. I just used it last night. GREAT jig!

Arthur,
Yeah. I hear Blitzenberger are nice.I will put it on thepossible list to buy. BTW, I only need to do one arrow at a time. So I don't need a pro mult machine. Thanks, Chris |
RE: Fletching Jigs?
guntercb...the bitz is the jig to have and most people on this site will to you just that. I too had a Jo Jan and sold it and got a Bitz. The Bitz does so much of a better job and after using a Bitz, I don't think I could go back to anything else. Yes, it is a little on the expensive price, but it is worth it!

RE: Fletching Jigs?
I am sitting here right now fletching a couple dozen Easton Axis shafts on a Cabela's fletcher. MW-41-0161-002. $69. Works great.

If money is no problem, then the Bitz is the one to have. If you're on a budget though, JoJan makes a single station fletcher that's pretty darn good and $30 less than the Bitz.
Hey, Roskoe, hate to tell you this but 3 Rivers sells the Bitzenberger for $70.99. ;) |

Wow - that sound like a good buy - at least for someone who doesn't already have one. I saw a guy in one of the shops doing some fletching on a Blitz - looked like a pretty good quality setup - haven't actually used one though.
