RE: Whisker Biscuit

Some one said to shoot nock feather up, is this true?
Yes you dont want your vane/feather going through the dark bristles at the bottom of the rest.

I am going to tryto fletch my own arrows with blazers to use with this rest. I will be buying a fletching jig and was wondering if I should geta straight clamp or one with helical? I shoot lefty and have left helical on my arrows at this time but didn't know if one worked betterthanthe other with a wb. thanks

It does not really matter with Blazers.

If your current arrows are left helical then get a left helical jig.

What about offset?

What about offset?
I believe that Bohning suggests a 2° offset w/straight clamp. I have mine @ 2° and am shooting great. Right or left...your preference.

Madjac20...Let me get this staight. You are using a straight clamp with 2 degrees of offset. If I get a left helical, do I still use 2 degrees of offset?

I have aslo fletched arrows with a right helical @ 2° offset with good results. Ijust think the straight clamp @ 2° offset works better thru the WB, IMHO.

Yep, you want the knock feather up. When you look at the bisquit, you will see a black portion at the bottom. Make sure that none of the vanes or feathers pass through that part or it will throw off the flight of the arrow. Love mine.
