Shrewd/Bowtech
Speaking of Shrewd, there was talk last year they were going to introduce a grip for the Bowtech. Shrewd seems to have spent the year messing up their website and other useless activities. Anyone see any new products from them? The Bowtech grip in particular.
If Shrewd hasn't introduced a grip, has anyone else offered a similar one? Wooden grips of any type don't compare but there are other minimal target types. |
RE: Shrewd/Bowtech
Ossage, I had an aluminum Shrewd grip on a P40. It was pretty nice, though I prefered shooting off the riser.

RE: Shrewd/Bowtech
Our local Bowtch shop got a new 2003 PRO 38 in lastweek. It has a VERY narrow grip on it,they also cut the overall weight of this bow ALOT.I don't know if all the new models have the narrow grip, but the new 38 deffently does.

RE: Shrewd/Bowtech
Thanks guys.
The thing about a shrewd is that it not only is a narrow grip, but it is square . Most grips lean to the outside, if at all they should lean to the inside. This was the problem with the Mathews low, it was low, but still torqued like crazy (unless you lift your hand to a high grip, taking the weight off the palm). |

Ossage.
All the new BT's I have seen have had the new grip. Look under my post called "ok ok ok here it is" in this forum I put up some pics of the new grip. ![]() Aussie by birth Texan by choice |
RE: Shrewd/Bowtech
Ossage,
The new Bowtech grips are narrow and square. IMO they fit real nice and with my low grip do not torque. I agree 100% on the Mathews grips, very hard to shoot. I struggled with mine for years until I got a loesh grip. |
RE: Shrewd/Bowtech
Thanks all for the insight.
