pendulum sight

hey guys i have a savage pendulum sigh tand i can only get out to 34 yards until i notice a drop i would like to be able to get to 40 without compinsating could i sight it in for 25 or 30 yards on the ground or will that mess me up with my short shots

The easiest way to do it would be to put a lower pin in either the pendulem sight(depending on model) or a lower pin inside guard. Another (best) way is to get a hybrid sight-pendulem/fixed pin cross.
