Most of them will allow you to reduce the pull weight by ten pounds from maximum. One exception is the new Bear Element. On the 50/60 model, you can go down to 45 lbs - this involved backing the limb bolts off six full turns. Two different pro shops have confirmed the that this is OK, and we have been shooting the bow at this setting for about 9 months now with no problems.
