RE: Rest choices for finger shooters?
The flipper I use does have a left/right adjustment, but not a plunger with adjustable tension. You're right about the spine being critical.
Touchy things. |
RE: Rest choices for finger shooters?
I use a WB with fingers and have never had a problem. Get the WB that is adjustable - easy to tune

RE: Rest choices for finger shooters?
I've posted the link to these videos before. There are a couple of them that perfectly show why I wouldn't even attempt to shoot fingers with a whisker bisquit. There is absolutely no way a fingers-released arrow can pass through a WB and properly go through paradox without interference.
The site is German. Just click on WMV or MPEG next to the picture, depending on which video format you prefer. The archer is Jay Barrs, two-time U.S. Olympian. He is also winner of 9 straight U.S. Field Archery national championships, a career total of 14, I believe. In other words, the boy knows how to shoot a bow. And yes, the arrows are properly spined. And he's using a flipper/plunger. ;) http://www.wernerbeiter.com/de/produkte/videos/video.php |
