Do NOT play with the draw post...

Or you'll be taking your new Bowtech back to the proshop like I will be.[:@]
I thought I adjusted the draw post position within the parameters per the instruction manual. Nope. The length felt right but the valley now seems awefully short. It sure is. The bow scale proved without a doubt I had no idea what I was doing. I now have a bow with a 45% letoff. No wonder why it felt "touchy". Duh...

Just move it back the other way to get your let off back. You may have to shorten your release to get the draw where you want it.

I make it a habit to mark that post. That way I have a reference if I ever decide to make adjustments.

Ihave the print out of what the settings are for the '07 line-up on my home PC. If you'd likeI can post it or you can do a search and attempt to find it on here? also, you can call bowtech or the shop and they should be able to tell you the post setting to start with.

However, as recommended by Buck you can move it back the other way andcheck with a bow scale until you are at 65% or 80%. Which ever works better for you.

I reset the drawpost and the bow's back to 70% letoff. All's good in Bowtech land:D. I just couldn't grasp the concept that changing the drawlength also changes the letoff. I do now. And to only move that post a little bit.
