3" or 4" Vanes

Hi Everyone,

What is the main or major difference between 3" or 4" vanes on carbon arrow besides the obvious 1" difference in length?

What's your preference?

Thanks,

Jesse

Just my opinion but 3" vanes are the answer to a problem that doesn't exist. Don't see any point in 'em, myself. Not enough to really control a broadhead and unnecessarily long for shooting field points.

When I use 4" vanes it's because that's what came on the arrows when I bought them. When they get messed up, I prefer to swap them out for 4" feathers, or 2" Blazers.

Thanks.

Anyone else have an opinion or preference? Any Why?

Thanks!

I use 4in because they are much easier to see than the 2in Blazers. I also had some problems with fletching clearance with the Blazers.:D
