RE: Bow Release

A roling sear or rope release is easier on servings. I would sugest trying a few different styles before you buy.
Look at:
www.fletcherarchery.com
and
www.truball.com

Both companies make high quality, afordable releaces.

Good luck!

I would suggest the Scott line of releases. If you want a caliper style they make it,if you want a rope style they offer it to.You can get more information from them at www.scottarchery.com

I have been very happy with my fletcher 3-d. It has a comfortable wrist strap and shoots extremely smooth. I use it for hunting,3d, and spots.

RE: Bow Release

I just bought one of the fletcher 3-d's the other day for 60 bucks and am very happy with it. The radius of the jaw where it contacts the string is quite larger than a normal fletch hunter or other releases that are simular. I also love the large trigger. I wish I could have got it in a different collor than that goofy green, but they were all like that. It also seems to be a bit big for a loop unless you make it a little wider than normal. I tried it and it worked ok, but I went back to going right off the string after a few dozen shots. I think that is what this release is made for.

Stay away from the Roller aid, unless you have a thick hard serving. After severaly shots the string will slip thru the rollers and you will get whacked in the face with your own hand.
