I just changed peep sights from old style rubberband to a G5 meopta. What kind of speed will I gain overall?

Not much, maybe 1-2 FPS

I doubt the chrony will show a difference,I know your impact will not change,unless it isn't in the exact spot the old one was.

i took off my peep totally and went w/ a hind sihgt .,,,,my groups are tighter and picked up 3 fps.......only thin on my string is a loop and leaches.

might not get much speed but i just took mine off now that my im sure my string is done stretching and put on a no strap peep and the quietness is unreal. that little rubber strap makes a ton of noise

Guys that I shoot with said I would gain about 8-10 fps with out the tubeand up to 5 fps with meta peep. The guy from the archery shop must have not placed it correctly because it was shooting 6" high at all three of my pins.
