Helical ...?
Ok guys got my new Muzzy 0 Effect on, tuned and hitting X's
Need some new arrows. Should I get some helical fletching? I've never messed with that before. Why should I, and how much?? |
RE: Helical ...?
If you are using plain ole duravanes 4", shouldn't make a difference. Might make your broadheads fly little better. I have shot both offset and helical on my multiple MZE bows, and all work great.
My broadheads will not fly as good as my field points with offset. But seem to shoot better with helical at 40-50 yards. |
RE: Helical ...?
Helical is the only way to go. The reason for this is because helical fletching will spin arrow faster, making it stabilize quicker thus more accuracy.I use/reccomend full helical because there's no such thing as too much accuracy, especially with fixed blade broadheads. Also, full helical will be more forgiving in case of slight broadhead windplaning.
