I purchased a new Hoyt Alphaburner Bone Collector Edition last year. It came from the pro shop with a string loop attached. I used it for about a month before I bought the TRU Nok by TRU Ball. I have had great success with it. It's very quiet and hasn't damaged my bow strings at all. I disagree with the comment that it adds a lot of forward momentum. My arrows are are flying a consistent 330 fps with 2 inch groups at 50 yards. I'm no Robin Hood, but those numbers are certainly enough to take any Indiana whitetail I run across. I use a Cobra Mamba release and honestly, I couldn't be happier with my set up. The TRU NOK adjusts my peep sight and I feel that my shots are just simply more consistent. Hope this helps!!

I used to shot off the string and I now use a string D loop with a Scott release. Wouldn't use anything else.

We must be related. Even live in the same state.

I too use the exact same setup. Have been for years. I have tried the D-Loops and do not like them. Yes you do get more string serving wear, but that is repairable.
