m9a-I fletch my blazers straight with my W/biscuit and leave the jig on for 10 to 15 seconds.
I also put a dab of glue at the front of each vane so the bristles from the biscuit do not catch under the front of the vane and pull the vane off.

One thing about doing your own arrows is that you can try anything and once you find something you like, stick with it.
