Texas Trophy Hunters Extravaganza

To all those who are planning on attending the Ft Worth show this coming week end be sure to drop into the Bowtech shooting trailer and say g'day, shoot some bows or just shoot the BS;)

We will have some hot bows and even hotter women:D

I'll see if I can talk Bob ( The Rev) into wearing his little cowgirl outfit[8D]:);):D

But we will have some hot bows there for all to shoot.

Now you've done it... I'll get you back, but when you least expect it.!!!!

I knew it had to either be at the Convention Center or Will Rogers, so I checked 'em out. It's at Will Rogers.

You won't learn that from visiting TTHA's website because they neglected to mention the location. Not going to be much of an extravaganza if they don't tell folks where to find it.;)

Sorry Art.

I just thought every one knew where it was at[8D]

So bud are you going??????

Art is right, I knew I was going to work the show, but I forgot if it was at Will Rogers or the Convention Center. I looked it up too, and realized no one bothered to post it on the site.
I've heard it advertized in just about every radio station I've listened to this week and several tv commericals.

Any way come out and shoot a Bowtech... If you hit Ausie, I'll give you a teddy bear.[:o]

Hey Russell, I'll see you if you're going to be there on Saturday or maybe Sunday.

You gonna have any previews of the super secret '08 models? I'm starting to hear some rumblings about them. :D

We still haven't sold our house and I've got to be available to get the dogs out of the way in case a realtor needs to show it. We usually only get an hour or so of warning. I've been held prisoner by this *@#! house all summer and I'm getting sick of it! I'll darn sure come and see you guys if there's any possible way. Just don't know if I can get there.

Anybody in the market for a 4-2 1/2-2 with a pool in the northern burbs? ;)

And Art, your house hasn't sold all summer, I hate to tell ya, but you might as well come to the show, it ain't gonna sell.. If they want it that bad, they will come back again to see it..:D

Art.

I dont know if you know what I do for a living but trust me the house market in the Metroplex is flooded at the moment. It is a buyers market.

There is that many foreclosures it is not funny I think it somewhere around 1 in 14 houses have been foreclosed:(

Well that stinks!. [8D]

The only thing I think that is keeping Bowtech from making the perfect bow is the lack of Barnsdale limbs. If they don't come out with something earth shattering for '08, I will make my own. A Bowtech Dually with Barnsdale limbs and a tune and strings from Crackers.

Arthur P 08-19-2007 05:03 PM

RE: Texas Trophy Hunters Extravaganza

After a few minutes in the Bowtech truck, I think they've already made the perfect bow, at least for me. Now all I gotta do is come up with the funds for that Commander... and permission from the household Chief Procurement Officer, aka my wife. ;)

Sure was good to finally meet Mike, Aussie and The Rev after yakkin' with you guys for so long. Hope we can do it again before the hills get much older. :)

Art.

It was my pleasure to meet you and to spend some time BSing with you;)

For you other guys who have never met Art well he come across the forums as a crotcherety ole bass turd but in fact he is a true gentelman in every sense.

I have a pic of Art and me chatting that I will post here in a little bit.

Only thing ya have to remember is I am the dwarf sitting next to the gentle giant[8D]:);):D

What an awesome blessing this week end was for me. I give God all the glory.

Good talking to you again Russell (even though you wouldn't even give me a hint about what's coming for '08 [8D]), it's been a while. Nice to talk to you Rev and Arthur. That Commander is a sweet bow for sure. Unfortunately I'm too much of a spped freak to buy one.;)

It was great to see yall this weekend. Russ I sure do wish you would let me shoot one of those sweeeeet Bowtech bows. Ok I'll just shoot mine at the shop. Thanks for making Jake feel like one of the guys while he was with working with yall. It really meant a lot to him. He is getting rid of his "PUNCH" and getting into a new release. He is starting to begin his training for next year.

God bless,
Joe

This is what made the show special this week end for me. Bowtech presented Jay Fondren (Iraq Vet)a new Guardian fully loaded... He came out the next day to shoot his bow for the first time.
The Burleson Boys ( Ausie, Kyle, The Rev) are taking him on a hog hunt 21st of Sept. The hunt will be filmed.
Jay belongs to an organization called Hunts for Heros. www.showofsupport.org
He I am with my new friend, also had the priviledge to meet Major General Leroy Sisco who is now associated with Texas Trophy Hunters, he also want's to tag along some of our hunts and film them... ( should we?) :D

Here's one with Major General Leroy Sisco (Retired) . Who works real hardfor all the vets. He is truly a gentleman.
