dave...thats probably THE funniest story ive ever heard. something along those lines happened to me today. went outside to greet the brown truck(hes here atleast once a week for someone in the house!) they cant pull in the driveway so i run down and meet him...GOTTA be my string...then i see him pull out a decint sized box...uhhh no way thats a string...unless its attached to a bow...sure enough he hands me a Home Shopping Network box and says have a good day...dang grandma ordered another gimmick from them in the wee hours of the morning....hes probably still wondering what a 20yo guy ordered from HSN and was so excited to get...saved him a walkin 90 degree heat though

Glad you liked it. Having lived it I didn't know how it was gonna read.

When it comes time for replacement strings be sure to consider our very own Gibblet for the job.

He once again turned out perfection for my Tribute.
Dave.

Come on man dont ya think John's head is big enough now, keep on saying those sort of things and he will have to sleep in the work shop as his head wont fit through the door[8D]

Your bow sure does look purrrrrrdy tho with those strings

I know for a fact that he has gone up three hat sizes in the last year.

dave, the liquid electrical tape doesn't last as long as shrink-wrap.

Gotcha.
Is my fear of the heat involved with standard shrink wrap aftecting the string a valid concern?
Is a heat gun the only way you'd do it?
or can a lighter pull it off without being detrimental to the string?

Dave,

You can also do it like Bob (The Rev) does.
Use a butane tourch[8D]

it freaks me out bad bro. i use the liquid electrical tape and just re-do it when it needs it. but a lighter, heat gun, or i guess butane torch will work. you'll need to be an expert w/ torch to use that though. i'd never even dare. stuff like that is best left to the REV.

I just had my Vipertec restrung and cabled with Bucknasty string's and my bow guy said that he liked them so much he was going to order him some!!!! I would HIGHLY recommend bucknasty strings for anyone wanting to get the best bang for not alot of money.
