still need help tuning
I shoot a mathews switchback xt at 70 lbs and a 27.5 draw length,with a mathews drop away rest and 27"easton axis fmj 400's with blazer vanes and no wrapsI am trying to paper tune because I just started shooting these arrows and I have anock left tear in the paper and I am out of ajustment on the rest,does anybody have any suggestions. Any help would be appreciated

I believe you have aspine issue. Do the bareshaft tuning method and that will tell you. If they are weak add a wrap or decrease point weight. If they are stiff add point weight.

I have posted this many times before but it is a method I have found to be very effective. Piece of advice.Never move rests way out left and right to get a good tear.Find out why you have the tear.Not having a bow set up to proper center shot will kill your accuracy. |

I always though my setups were tuned pretty good as BH and FPs would group together but the groups would open up at 40 yards, not any more. BTW I also think you have a spine issue from how far you have had to move the rest. |

Those arrows are too weak.Drop your poundage and I'll bet they tune up fine.I normally shoot 400 spine arrows closer to 60 pounds with similar specs.
