New bow setup question

I just bought a new Guardian and had it set up at the pro shop. My question is about my peep sight. my pro shop guy served it to the string but it is still able to slide up and down. Is this something that is done since the bow is new and the string needs to be broken in?
Also, to anyone who uses the Trophy Ridge Dropzone rest, how did you like it? I put it on my Guardian but am kind of unsure whether or not I like it. Help me out please! Its not much fun having a new bow you can't sight in yet because the peep sight slides up and down.

Most places do that so you can adjust them. You should be able to slide the knots up and down and the peep too. When you have them where you want them go back and have it permanently served in.
Cant help with the rest I still shoot a prong rest. Good luck.

When I had my Vectrix set up the guy simply had me draw the bow and heslid the peep up the string until I could see through it, then he permanently served it in. It shouldn't move at all once it's served.;)

What is it about the rest that you might not like?

The DZ has its plusses and minuses. Just trying to figure out what you concern is, might be fixable, and might not.

How do you permanently serve in the peep? Just a knot above an below snugged up tight?
