? for the bowtech guys

Well i just got a new tomkat today for a back-up bow. When the dealer set it up for me, the draw length was alittle long. he moved the stop to shorten the draw length. well got home and it seemed like i was holding alot of weight compared to my allegience. i pulled the allegience back and noticed that the cam roll-over was more than what was on the tomkat. well i moved the stop and man what a difference, but now the draw length is about 1 1/2" to long, just a guess. how do i change the draw length without giving up the let off? any help would be great.

Get and install theproper module in your draw length, then fine tune the valley with thedraw stop post.

NOW AM I RESPONSABLE FOR THE PRICE OF THE MODS? WILL I HAVE TO GET A NEW STRING INSTALLED?

Mods are cheap and no you won't need a new string.

If this was a new bow purchase make the shop get you the correct modules. No sense paying for a bow that doesn't fit you.

If he doesn't have the mod the chart says you need have him order one. Don't let him just try to get you out the door with the bow not set up correctly because he doesn't have the right parts on hand.

Here is the mod chart for the 2007 bowtechs, if it is an 06 let me know & I'll post it-

The dealer should have set you up with the right modules. The stop is just there to fine tune the valley. You will have to move the stop once you gety the right mods put in.

No new string needed. You can see from the chart that modules are in 1/2" increments. I think they run about $20 per set but the shop should have got you set up right to begin with. I'd think it would have been easy to just get it set the same as your Allegiance...?[&:]
