Usthe straight clamp and just put as much offset as you can get.This works for me.On some skinny carbons you cannot get the vane/feather to stay on the shaft with a helical clamp.

Hint: Take 300 Grit Sand paper and rough up the shaft and blazer for better adhesion.
Something is up if you've got to sandpaper your Blazers to get them to stick. They even say not to use anything on the fletchings to clean them up.
Who said I have to sandpaper my Blazers to get them to stick? Don't read into anything other than what I type.

I picked this trick up from a little old man who ran an archery shop. He had excellent customer service, has been in the industry forever and really knows his stuff.
