Arrow wraps?

I have never put wraps on my arrows, and decided to give it a try when i found some good looking wraps in the bargain cave at cabelas. Not using my head, I purchased wraps for aluminum arrow instead of for carbons. I put one on last night, and part of the sticker is overlapping itself leaving a small area of double thick wrap. Is this a major NO-NO as far as how it will affect arrow flight. Don't know if anyone has done this same thing before!!!!
Thanks for the help

How much is it overlapping? A little won't hurt anything. You want them to slightly overlap. The wraps are so thin it really dosn't make any difference.

Thanks for the help. It is overlapping about a 1/4", which is probably a little to much. I will probably take a straight edge and trim off at least half of that amount. The only problem i can see is if the vane was fletched on that raised portion. That might have an affect on the flight.
