THE BLOCK,,Easy out ????
 

I bought a new Block target to shoot at .
Its the original one thats black and white .
I shot a few arrows in it today at 20 yards with my new Tribute set at 65 lbs.
I,m shooting Easton Axis HIT with 100 grain field tips .
They claim arrows come out easy ??
Holy Crap them suckers realy penetrate .
They go almost right thru the target ( abought 14 '' or so ) and come out HARD .
I tried 30 yards and they were a little easier to pull out .
I s it because the Axis carbon arrows penetrate so much ?
I,ll probably look into getting a bag ??

Aren't the Axis arrows a smaller diameter? That would let it penetrate further into the block, yet there is still friction when you pull it out. If you pull it straight back it shouldn't be too bad. It also will get easier with use.

Just a note, if you are shooting with the thing on the ground or from a tree stand so that you are shooting down at it, make sure the foam layers are vertical and shoot from directly in front of it.

It should get easier after the target has had a bunch of shots through it.

I shoot Beman Black Max and CE Terminator LiteSelects. The bemans come out alot harder. Probably because they do penetrate better and the smaller diameter. It takes a little muscle to get them out.
The Ce's come out w/ one hand.
