Arrow Cutting
Im going to get arrows cut 2nite and was wonder if they can reuse the inserts that are in the arrow. I might want to upgrade to a heavier insert cuz my arrow only weighs about 350 grains and im taking 2 inches off.

RE: Arrow Cutting
It depends on what glue was used to install them.
If it was hot melt, there is a real good chance that they can be reused. But if epoxy, goat tough or some others, it may be more trouble than it is worth. |
RE: Arrow Cutting
well they are Carbon Express any1 know what they used?

RE: Arrow Cutting
Why are you getting them cut? Odds are you will need to move up to a heavier point. When you cut them down, it will stiffen the spine of the arrow.
For your queston, you can reuse them if they're in good shape, but they're cheap enough to just go with new ones. |
