Shooting ??'s

I have made the switch to a quiver on the bow for a elk hunt this year. I noticed last night that my arrows are flying to the right alot with the quiver on and loaded with four arrows. I take it off and I am right back on again. It is really noticed at long range 40+. Is this a form issue or the extra wieght on the side of the bow? I am shooting a fread bear epic extreme with 7595 gt arrows 100grn tip. I need to be able to shoot with the quiver both on and off. Maybe it was fatigue from shooting so long? Thanks....[&o]

The extra weight is causing you to can't the bow.If the bow leans right, the shot goes right.Ifit leans left the shot goes left.

I dont think that the extra what 1000 grains will cause that much movement. it might be more like 2000 grains or more i dont know your setup

Lets see 5 arrows at 425 gr plus the quiver (Alpine)? I don't know what it weighs? I shot some more and the bow does seem to kick twords the quiver afte the shot. Might have to go to the hip quiver. I am going to see if I can get another mount for the alpine? Then I will have both options.

Instead of a hip quiver get a Cat Quiver then you will have a quiver and back pack all in one.;)

I know I wont hunt without my Cat Quiver.:)

It sounds like you figured it out already, when its on you shoot right, when its off you shoot on target. I shoot with mine both on and off, and I've never noticed it shooting right for me. I'd say you either have to shoot until its second nature to correct for it on, or just get a quiver that doesn't clip on.

try and make it part of your shooting routine to check your level, if your sight has one
