Peep Alignment?
I am just wondering what does a misaligned peep (twisted) cause your shot to do? Will it causethe arrowto go left or right? Or what will it cause? I am shooting excellent groups at 25 yds, but they are just a tad to the left. My sight is adjusted all the way to the left and centershot/paper tune is good.
Thanks, LT |
RE: Peep Alignment?
I suppose it could affect windage......The aperture isn't dead center as it should be, seems logical.....Only thing I've ever NOTICED though is that it makes the peep kinda hard to see through.

RE: Peep Alignment?
MoBo is right, the only thing it makes it is hard to see through. Shooting to the left is a form problem. You can correct it but man it could be a dozen things. The most likely is you are overstretching your left arm, draw too long for you. Next is that you are leaning your head way out away from you. Then it gets tough after these two things. If I had you here beside me we could work it out. If you are dead set on your current form there is another way. You can forget the peep, get a kisser and look around (yes, to the outside of the string) that will line stuff back up.
This is all assuming you are right handed. And your rest isn't setting too far to the left while holding the bow away from you in normal fashion. I could possibly help you through this but I gotta see pics of your form. |
