OnTarget2 Questions
It shows that at my current setup. (Gold Tip 7595s and a 100g tip at 28.5") That my velocity will be 292.1, is that fps? How accurate do you think that is? and for a FOC it is at 10.08%.
Is that alright, I read on the page here that it should fall within that range..but somebody the other day had said something about getting it around 20%?? |

RE: OnTarget2 Questions
You are alright at 10.08%. I probably wouldn't go any lower than that.
My high range is 15%. After that, the arrow gets too heavy, the bow looses too much speed, your drop at 40/50yds is considerable. |
RE: OnTarget2 Questions
To set-up Ontarget2 properly you have to weigh one of your arrows and also get it chronographed. Then, adjust your IBOto correct the velocity. The factory tests the IBO with thestring naked. You have to treat your IBO as if you have a bunch of things on the string/cables. Which you do.
My arrow weighed exactly what the program said it does. To give you a ballpark for that arrow. I use 125 gr tips with a 28.25" arrow. I have a '07 Bowtech Allegiance and at 72 lbs w/ a 30" DL I chrono'd 293 fps. |
