Question about bow?

My friend pulled my bow back and at about half draw his fingers slipped off the string. I shot my bow and it shot well. I looked at the limbs for cracks. Should i do anything about it or should it just let it be because it still shoots fine.

If I were you, I'd want to draw your friends bow, hehehe

RE: Question about bow?

Have it checked out -- from only half draw, I really doubt that anything got damaged, unless he also dropped it and bounced it from a hard floor or something.

RE: Question about bow?

My friend and eye see no damage, and cannot tell any damage from shooting it. Now i am simply asking if there is a chance that it still can be damaged, and if so what should i do to check it out.

RE: Question about bow?

Most of the newer bows should survive a dryfire, especially from 1/2 draw. If you have any reservations, get it checked out by a shop.
