string strecth
 
Ok guys just read an article on string strecth in regards to tuning your bow.Should you tune new bow with the new string or wait until you have shot in the new string and tune it in then with your hunting arrows and bradheads,ect.

Yes shoot the string in before installing the peep and tuning.

Most custom strings will only need around 50 to 100 shots to settle the string in.

Ausie what about the string that comes on the commander?Should I just go ahead and order a custom string and if so can you recomend a good one for the commander?

Tre.

I have the Commander as my 3d bow and even tho I had John make me a new string and cables I am still using the factory string and cable.

For factory strings IMHO Bowtech has the best out there.;)

Thanks AUSIE think i'll shoot what the bow comes with then,I'll just be sure to shoot it in then go back and re-set pep and all and tune my bow then.
