Sideways, thanks for trying to help but that is not the problem i had with building my own! The problem I had is the "H"nock is too small for the diameter of the bobber light that needs to be installed. It requires a lot of drilling and reaming of the nock out which i dont find very safe and besides that it is so tight once u do get it in the arrow that it is just not very durable! Thanks for trying to help though! I am just going to bite the bullet and spend $11 dollars a piece for one and get the tracer nocks they have made them to fit the "H" nock now and i really like their flash feature now!

Good lookin dog bigdaddycain I raise black and tans. Good blood dogs for those sometimes hard to find deer too.;) But back to the homeade lighted nocks, instead of cutting another nock for inside the arrow I use wooden dowls availible at Walmart and have never had any issues with irregular flight on my arrows.
