Newbie Question

I am going to get my 9 year old into bow hunting. Heis not strong enough topull back a bow. I was looking at a browning Micro adrenaline xs package (any feed back would be appreciated). Is there something I can buy so that I can pull the bow back and lock it in place and then all he has to do is release it. I think I have saw something like this but not sure. I couldnt find anything on Cabelas website.

RE: Newbie Question

Just get a lighter bow! I think my little cousin had a browning midas or someting and it was like 10 or 15 pounds. Won't kill a deer, but it will be fun and easy to shoot. If you want to buy someting that holds it back, you might as well buy a x-bow.

Small light youth bows like that are cheap. You dont need to spend a fortune on a top of the line youth bow that he will outgrow in a year. When hes old enough to hunt, buy him a better bow.
