Tuning should be this fun

Just picked my bow up at Lens. He changed out the string and cable on my liberty. Took home and shot thru paper high tear, adjusted the MZE to come up higher, and lowered the string loop about 1/16" inch, bam, shooting bullet holes thru paper. Go out in the yard, and mount my montecs, shoot at 40 yards. Made a slight adjustment and now broadheads and field tips hit together at 40. This is the way tuning should be.20min. I deserve it. Last two bows, I have worked on have been a bear.

Awesome, big country!! A lot of us still love the Liberty, that's for sure.

I'm going to be taking my Dad bowhunting a lot next year and buying him his first bow... I sure hope there's something still like the Liberty in the lineup for me to get for him.Great bow.

This is the way tuning should be. 20min.
I'd attribute it to well matched arrows. I seldom spend more time than that with tuning (after I've spined tuned my arrows). I find that most tuning problems (assuming no bow defects), are due to arrows that are not ideal for the setup.

I will admit to spending a lot of time getting my arrows just right. Most bowhunters spend about 5 seconds tuning their arrows. I spend 2-3 hours on that portion of tuning.

Your probably right straight. The last two bows I have worked on, I have tried to make marginally spined arrows work, simply because I had them on hand. Still have trouble getting a recurve to fly well, and I am figuring I am going to have to buy new arrows. Trying to get my longbow cedars to work with it.

i can tell you this - w/ the full draw tool len designed for apple, and a spott hogg laser, (and the htm bow vise - looking forward to the one len has designed) - tuning is a lot easier for me. no kidding - run archer's advantage for my arrrows and setup, use those tools, and my bow is pretty much perfectly tuned before i even shoot it - about as close as yours bigc.

Len's got a new guy there named Doug, seems like a good addition. Seemed very knowledgable, and explained everything he did.

I want to buy a spot hogg laser, to adjust yokes, but I think I am just going to keep paying Len to do it.:D Nice toy, but not sure if it makes sense for a guy like me.
