temperature question

Ok, I finally moved to an all new appartement, freshly painted.
I even have my own computer and bowfiddling room, unfortunatly it's right under the roof and it might get a little hot in here....
Would my bow suffer from the heat, I think it will get around 30 degrees celcius at the most.

RE: temperature question

If my estimates are correct, that's around 89 or 90 degrees farenheit.....So no, your bow should be ok.......Gonna be a little hot for you though, isn't it?

RE: temperature question

90 degrees will not hurt your bow. A sunny 120 degrees in your car will hurt your bow.

If that is the case, I live in the wrong state. I live and hunt in texas. I am almost 60, been here all my life, trust me, your safe! :D

RE: temperature question

You never want to let your bow get too hot to touch. That's the threshold level of heat that'll cause damage. It can easily get that hot on the back seat or trunk of a car in full sun on a hot Texas day in August. It doesn't get 'hot' here until it hits 100 F. Anything under that is just 'warm.' [8D]

I don't think that heat will hurt it too much. Probably won't be that great on rubber things like limbsavers and the such though.

Direct sunlight is what is very bad for a bow, or extreme heat.

As The Rev said...I too live in Texas and I have hunted with my bow and it be above 90 degrees. That temp won't hurt anything.

Where in Texas are you Rev??
