The Grin...

I got to shoot the new bow for the first time yesterday. Within about 6 shots, I had a sight pin set for 20yds. First group of 4 arrows was 2" in almost a perfect square and it just got better from there. Wow, bows have come a long way since my Bear Whitetail! That first group made me grin like a little kid on Christmas morning and I've been grinning ever since. I can't wait to shoot some more! (My shoulders and back are begging me to wait a while, though. :)) How long does it take for the grin to go away? Does it ever?

The grin never goes away unless you do what I done.
I was practicing with broad heads when the neighbours cat walked behind my target while I was not looking.
A perfect bulls eye but the arrow went further through the target than expected I did not know the cat was there till I went to retrieve the arrow.
Was really hard to explain it to the neighbour.

Umm... ok. Back to the original topic after that hijacking by Aussie , I'd like to thank everyone for the great info I've gotten so far on this site. Of course, you're just getting me deeper into archery and that will make me ask more questions, of course.

Jason.
Archery is a bottomless pit so you will never hit the bottom.
Dont worry about asking questions we will try and answer them for you and even hijack the topic from time to time

The main thing is to have fun and enjoy the addiction

Aussie-guy, this obsession reminds me of another one I have, guitars. It seems guitar players can't ever have enough gear either.. So now it seems the wife is going to have something else to complain about my spending on. OH Well.

Good Hunting,
