what length?

i am using easton 2314 alum arrows and currently are 28 in. i shoot a Bear Instinct at 65 lbs. i am using trophy ridge drop zone rest. what i need to know is if i cut arrows down further like 27 or 26 inches will i still be ok with foc and will i gain more speed. i use 100 grain heads and 26 is low as i can go with arrows. or should i just leave them alone at 28 inches. thanks for all info in advance.

RE: what length?

You need to provide your draw length and if you use a release for anyone to help you out with this.

RE: what length?

I will tell you right now you won't gain enough speed to make it worth your while. You won't even be able to the tell the difference without a chronograph. It will not change you trajectory or sight settings at all would be my guess.

The only reason to cut your arrows would be if they did not spine correctly and you couldn't get them to tune. If it shoots well I would just leave it alone.

That's my opinion anyway.
