Another Blazer question
I have decided to give blazers a try. Seems that everyone has had good results with them. My question is straight fletch or 4 degree offset? Again thanks for the help.

RE: Another Blazer question
Offset or helical.....NOT straight, they just don't work right.

I fletch my blazers straight with a 2 degree offset and they work great. |
RE: Another Blazer question
Offset or right helical. Bohning uses 2-3 deg on their Blazer jig. I use as much as I can get with good contact.

RE: Another Blazer question
Ive played around with them a bit and have had good flight with any offset. If your not gonna go helical try and get as much offset as you can. More spin isnt really a bad thing.

RE: Another Blazer question
Go with helicle or off set . . . UNLESS, you use a whisker bisqiut. Then you may want straight. Easier pass through.

RE: Another Blazer question
Thanks for the feedback. The duravanes I have now are at a 4 degree offset. I will probably give the blazers a try at the same setup.

RE: Another Blazer question
Never have used blazers, but for broadheads there is only one way to fletch and that is to use as much a helical as u can, this will always give u better flight w broadheads!

RE: Another Blazer question
I do right helical with as much offset as I can get and they work great for me...

RE: Another Blazer question
I use an Arizona Ezee Fletch for carbon arrows with a 6 degree offset and have had no problem with my Blazers and the Wisker Bisquits. With a well tuned bow, it will group better than these old eyes can shoot! I also have never had to replace a Blazer because of wear in the WB. As long as you prep the shaft correctly before glueing the fletching on, you will have no problems at all. Just make sure that if you use a WB it has a large hole and doesn't grasp the shaft.
